Why Trigger Point Tactical

Trigger Point Tactical was founded to help responsible citizens develop the confidence, competence, and control necessary to safely and effectively own and operate a firearm.

Our approach combines professional instruction, practical application, and continued development to create shooters who are capable, accountable, and prepared.

Our Mission

We believe firearms training should be approachable, professional, and focused on real-world application.

Whether you’re a first-time firearm owner or an experienced shooter looking to refine your skills, our goal is to provide a safe learning environment where students can build confidence, develop competence, and maintain control under pressure.

The Three C’s

Confidence

Building trust in your abilities through proper instruction and repetition.

Competence

Developing the knowledge and skills necessary to perform safely and effectively.

Control

Maintaining discipline, accountability, and sound decision-making

“I didn’t start Trigger Point Tactical because I had it figured out.

I started it because it took me too long to figure it out.

I came into firearms thinking I’d pick it up quickly. I liked guns. I thought they were cool. I’d seen the movies. I assumed it would translate. It didn’t.

And for a long time, I tried to figure it out the hard way. Until I realized:

If it took me this long, other people were going through the same thing.

That’s why I started teaching.

The best part isn’t shooting. It’s watching someone when it clicks. When frustration turns into confidence. That’s why Trigger Point Tactical exists: Shorten the learning curve. Make shooting simple, safe, and repeatable. Because confidence isn’t given. It’s earned.

And once it clicks…

everything changes”.
